This class will include an opportunity for attendees to be told about the history of the kimono and also given an opportunity to try one on! Akemi will also explain about the tradition of the Japanese Tea Ceremony and treat attendees to their own Tea Ceremony. As a UK-based lecturer and consultant on Japanese culture, Akemi Tanaka has helped to promote the traditions of her native country over many years.
