30th Jul-8th Aug Residential Study Retreat & Cultural Exchange Visit to England, Summer 2002 UK In Summer 2002 Akemi Tanaka brought a small group of Japanese people to Sussex, England. From 30th July to 4th August the party studied English language and culture at a residential study retreat at Ardingly College, where they also enjoyed the sport and recreational facilities, and took part in educational and cultural events at local schools and societies. From 4th to 8th August they stayed with British host families in Mid-Sussex, visited London and many local places of interest, and were honoured guests at specially arranged educational, cultural and social events. www.akemitanaka.co.uk/services/study-tours
